What is a flexible spending account (FSA)?

  • Flexible spending accounts (FSA) + health savings accounts (HSA) are employee or insurance sponsored programs that allow you to set up a pre-tax account for specific health care costs. If you’re not sure if you have an FSA or HSA, check with your employer or insurance carrier.

Can I use my FSA or HSA dollars?

  • We accept FSA or HSA dollars for all prescription purchases as long as your benefit card is affiliated with a major credit card.

When is the cut-off for placing an order online with FSA dollars?

  • If your benefits expire at the end of the year, you have until Friday, December 31 at 11:59 p.m. ET to place an order with us using your FSA dollars. Be sure to double-check with your carrier for details on your plan.

What’s the best way to place my FSA or HSA order?

  • First, contact your carrier and double-check the balance on your FSA account. You’ll need an up-to-date prescription and your pupillary distance, which can be measured here. If you don’t have a valid prescription, you can choose to send it later too.

You can place an order online and apply your FSA or HSA card to the order. Here’s how:

  1. Create or log in to your Quay account
  2.  Add an Rx frame to your cart and then upload, renew, or send your prescription later
  3.  Complete the checkout process by using your FSA or HSA card as you would any other credit card

Quay tip:
